Well heres the full tank shot, u can see i tucked the heater up high away from the soon to be O.S. Mantis. The tank has been up for 1 1/2 days now so its still a bit milky.

Since they like rubble and small crushed rocky substrate, i went with crushed coral on top of arag sand and little pieces of LR.

ok well heres the last pic, nothing special, i tested water and there is no nitrate, no nitrites and .025 ammonia and ph is 8.0, The tanks only been up for 1 1/2 days so im waiting for the water params to change a bit, I used fully cured LR so im gona let it cycle for only about a week 1/2. Let me know what u guys think, suggestions, ideas, anything!.

Tank looks great!! Awesome job. Be careful of not seeing a cycle right away. Using Cured LR will help. Is your sand bed from an established tank? What about the initial water?

all new water and sandbed, just the LR is cured from my old reef tank. all and all i think a week and 1/2 will be good for the cycle.

its been up and running for about 3 days now, its CRYSTAL clear, i just tested the water and its pretty much the same as last time. Im gona do a water change in a few more days and post more pics up.
