I have been working on a canopy for the last few weeks and finally have it completed. It's made from pine 1x4 and the doors are made from 3/4" plywood. All paint was applied with a brush. I will be painting the stand and bottom trim to match the canopy. I'm also going to have matching hardware (hinges and handles) on the bottom as well.
The canopy is 25" tall and is open top. I have Dual 250 watt hqi and 2x110 watt actinic mounted in it for lighting. I have 5 120 mm computer fans blowing in from the back and exhausting from the top. Yesterday was the first full day it's been set up and the temp stayed at 80. 3 of the 5 fans are the blue LED computer fans. They make absolutely awesome nightlights! There are 4 LEDs per fan that can be aimed to highlight watever critters you want.
Here's the canopy:
And here's some critters:
God bless,
Chris
