I thought this would be a cool thing to start. This could be a nice memory lane walk for some. So here is the deal, post a pic of your home town/city or whatever it is and one of your current city :) Maybe it would inspire some to travel there too! :) Since some of you are into photography you don't have an excuse not to post a pic :)

Post a pic along with the name name of the hometown and a pic of the current city.

This is Moscow, Russia:

very nice photos, thanks for sharing.

My Moscow memories include an unheated, three day train ride in December. But so much to see there. Hoping to someday go back and visit again. Its my wife's home town and she hasn't been back since the age of 6.

Yeah, I know what you are talking about, all trains were like that. I had to take the trains that ride around Moscow to get to school and back and if you get enough people per wagon it actually gets pretty warm lol Today, it is much better tho! Everything is VERY modern. Definitely worth the visit again!

I, on the other hand have to be careful with the army draft every time I go there. So I have to fly in around the draft seasons (there are two and they are 3 or so months each). Its a pain in the @s* :(
