aww man , this setup is sweet! my little nano now looks just that...NANO. Ok so now for the questions... Is that an Orchid? What kind? Is that just a regular old mist humidifyer? what kind? and What kind of tads?

I will have to check on the orchid, The humidifier is a reli-on cool mist I have the model number if you want it. I just used some pvc parts to reduce it to fit my 3/4" pipes. The tads are D. Auratus "Acon Hill"

The flower is a dendrobium orchid. I know this because we had those exact flowers (but fuscia colored) in our wedding. I think this is my first post on RC where I can state a reply like this with such authority!

The humidifier is a Reli-On ultrasonic humidifier madel # H-0695-0

I have gotten most of my plants from Home Depot, Lowes, or Wall-Mart. I am planning on ordeing some soon so if anyone wants some let me know.

Yes it is a dendrobium orchid. I had the whole name somewhere ut cant seem to find it. It is a hybrid I remember that much.

Right on...Well i hope you know a lot about them..I have a ? that i head about them..is that captive darts are not toxic like they are in the wild because of the food they eat in the wild vs in a tank...and this ? brings it back to reef tanks.. if all that is true would zoas lose there toxin due to diff food light and what not

Poison Dart frogs gain there toxins from eating certain bugs. Zoas produce the toxins themselves (similar to the bug that the frogs eat) so they should retain their toxins. I think that's right anyway!

do you not have to worry about pesticides from plants you buy at home depot or other stores? I read somethin' about that.

yea steve...always give a good rinse when you buy plants from places like that......or keep them in the house and water them normally for a few weeks...should be fine as well

yes it is true about the dart frogs, being captive raised they are not poisonous!
