Pics of the progress

Eric that is a good piont, I think that a lot of people have lost sight of this hobby is about. We all have to start at one place and I think that Jeremy's take has started off ten times better that mine ever did. Well done Jeremy.
Why does everything have to have a price/name placed on it to be worth keeping? just because a coral isn't bright blue with pink and green spots on it doesn't mean that it's not worth keeping. Come on...
Josh I am sure that you at one time had simular corals when you first started, did other hobbyist bash you for that? that is a great way to keep people in the hobby.

Nah ... I don't think anyone thought you were bashing .... Allways comes off that way though huh ...lol.... Everybody Loves Josh or at least they should! I do ... You're smart , funny , charming.. I mean not much on the eyes , but what are ya gonna do ya know?!?!? Nobodies perfect... ...Just my opinion ... =0) Just having a discussion , and it is hard to emote humor and sarcasm through the written/typed text...

I think there is something to be said for keeping the higher end corals , it just isn't for me ... It's funny because I hear people say "that grows too fast" Seems like a problem I would love to have ... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... ( like that qoute? I just made it up) Google it , it's a fact! ..... Anwhoo....

Picked up a Sailfin yesterday! I love these fish..

Looking good J.
I don't see any clean up crew, do you have any snails or crabs in there, they will help with the little bit of cyano. See the tanks growing rocks though, looks like you will have to get a bigger tank soon. :-)

I have a few crabs and snails. Maybe 6 crabs total and 7-8 snails. I do need some more snails! I want some of the snails that I can't spell but they start with a N and rhyme with serious....eric said they would be a wise choice.

Yeh for some reason, the rock breeds good now with 0 Nitrates so i guess its finally happy...lol

I want some Zoas! one of those rock covered in a nice assorted zoa mixture would be awesome!

Nassarius,
I dumped around 300 red leg hermits 300 nerite and around 150 Cerith snails in my 180 the last time I done a clean up crew. They do the work so I don't have too. Yes it is a lot of money but it is well worth it. Cleans the parts of the tank that you can not get too. Conchs are also a good choice if you have a sand bed.

Yeh I was looking for some Conchs out at UA the other day but they were out.

I gotta horseshoe crab to dig it up a little but something tells me after awhile I will be trading him off due to the size. besides...adds a little to the tank to watch him bulldozing around!

PM me if ya can find a good deal on a crew and maybe we'll work something out. I know I need more..

A little too late, that ship sailed, I just done a clean up crew order and asked anybody who was interested to tag along, three other in the club was the only responce. Still got a great deal.

Yeh they are Mike...nice big chunk too!

Ade I'll get a shot with the daylights on...had to get the pic with the moonlights on because they look more sweet!

I was thinking....right now I have 2 65K PC's and 2 460 Actinics with blue LED moonlights for night time. If I change out the 4 65K's for 10K's and just use the moonlights for nighttime usage and show, would this be better than what I have now?

I'm leaning towards yes...

J. If I had known those zoos were so good looking...

Seriously, they look sharp under that light. Nice job. Tank is looking great.

Thanks Josh....I was thinking the same thing.

JC...they seriously look good under those LED moonlights I have! Not so much the actinics tho.

Ok I gotta make a trip out to UA now...

I thought the 10K's brought out more white light than the 65K's? I got the moonlights so I could keep them on with the daylights....wonder if that would offset it a little?
