Wow! That's impressive - since I'm getting ready to get my LR for my first 60, how many lbs do you have in your 90?

The tank looks awesome. Great job.

I have a couple questions though. What do you do for flow underneath the rock pile? Do you worry about detritus building up in there? Looks like you only have one fish but I'd still be scared of an algae outbreak in the future.

Also, it looks like you didn't put the screens on your powerheads? Your clown could get stuck to one of those during the night. I had a good sized percula clown in a bucket with some rocks and a MJ for flow one time. Just keeping it in there very temporarily. I checked on it a few hours later and unfortunately the percula somehow got sucked up into it, sideways and killed. I know it seems crazy but things happen. I would have never thought it could happen. That's why I'd use the short screens that come with them to be safe. They really don't look that bad. Just my opinion.

1) What do you do for flow underneath the rock pile?
There is a MJ1200 piped into a pvc pipe that runs along the botton , back of the tank..it has holes drilled in all differant directions. this provdes enough flow behind the rocks to prevent any dead spots...you can see the pump and stand pipe in the left rear of the full tank shot.

2) Do you worry about detritus building up in there?
No, i cant sweat the little things..theres real not enough to worry about..i dont feed the tank at all.. so there is only natural accumulations and those are taken care of by the 100 or so hermit crabs..

3) Looks like you only have one fish but I'd still be scared of an
algae outbreak in the future.
There are only three fish in the tank at this moment. a Sebae Clown and Yellow Watchman Gobie and a Spotted manderin..Even without feeding the fish are fat and happy.. and they are all at least 3-5 years old.

4) Also, it looks like you didn't put the screens on your powerheads? Your clown could get stuck to one of those during the night.
They have been like that for yrs and have never lost a fish that way.
