excellent tank!! dont sellllllllllllllllll! have someone baby sit for you :D
That is something I have been agonizing over and probably one of the reasons I haven't been more motivated to move. I have become quite attached to some of these colonies that I've raised from frags (like children). On the other hand, part of being able to afford the cost of a new home means selling what I have. On the bright side once I am in a new house I can go bigger with my dream in-wall tank. At least that is part of the agreement I'm hammering out with my girlfriend :D

If I do sell it all hopefully the buyer would let me get frags once I'm up and running again.

Wow,another awesome tank! You got my vote for TOTM.

Loc
Thanks Loc, very kind of you to say. Not sure I've reached TOTM but that would be a great honor some day. Not that I've built up my tank with that in mind, my personal reward is being able to stand in front of my tank when I get home from work and soak in my little piece of the reef.

I've seen your tank in person....now, how much would you ask for it?
undecided at this point. This hobby is a money pit so I wouldn't expect to get half of what I've invested. When it happens, my main concern will be to preserve the corals so they can continue to thrive elsewhere. I'll leave all this for another thread once I get there.

Another very nice tank......these tanks are the reason we got into the hobby! I think that it's neat that most of those colonies started off as frags! Another TOTM in my opinion!

seriously, i dont think anyone would have a problem babysitting your coral for a few months. i'm sure a few bucks would change their mind ;)

ken the tank is looking awesome man. would really be a shame to see it pulled apart. your tank is one of those ones i could stand in front of for hours just staring.

Naw. Break it up and sell it off. Call me first a couple of weeks before anyone else.
Stunning. Inspirational. Very nice indeed.

It's inevitable. Sooner or later it will need to come down but in it's place will rise a new bigger and better reef tank. When that day comes I'll let everyone know. By no means do I have any plans to leave the hobby. I think Charlton Heston proclaimed... "you'll take my [reef tank] when you pry it from my cold, dead hands", or perhaps I heard that wrong
