Smelly fish
I started keeping seahorses in the 80’s. Started breeding in the early 2000’s . Of all the seahorse tanks over the years , the easiest and probably the healthiest is this one . H. Reidi tank with a few pieces of branch live rock, Bare bottom and a cheap in tank skimmer. It had macro algae. Only had to feed once a day . The pod population what enough to keep them fed. They would hunt for food all day long. had fry all the time. The lighting was power compacts. I thought I would share since I found these pictures. To most it probably not the most visually appealing tank. But to the seahorses it’s probably paradise.

I love it. I collected many of them here in New York and raised them. But your tank for them is priceless and I am sure they love you for taking care of them and not worrying what people think of the looks. 😄
