well, no fts yet. Theres a colony that got turned over by a snail that I have to right, and my slimer got unattached again. And I just replaced my sea hair due to my SEIO 1100 vivisecting my first one :/ Dum thing would crawl right back into as soon as I peeled him off of it, wasnt there to do it the last time obviously. But was hoping my new guy would find the last patch of grass that was left behind by the last guy, as you can see from the tuff's of hair in the firt pic. Almost didnt post that pic becuase of it ;) Im gonna try and take some more tonight, so we'll see!

I don't see the blue tipped one......I like comparing the morphing and coloration of yours to mine with the flow and lighting differences we have. Its a really responsive piece to change in mine and grows in a nice symetrical pattern. Looking good as always!!!!

I accidentally broke it off it's encrustment Doug. If you look at the acro and chromis picture you can see the remains, and whats quickly getting overgrown by the acro in the pic. Its the browned out acro behind Alex's unknown. Your correct, it is very responsive to changes :D

Marcs acan, gettin bigger by the day. Really developing some nice growth and color, one of my favorites!

another shot of a digi, this thing just trips me out. After 2 years it started to devop a mint shimmer over the polyps and the base gets pink, Paul and Ryan have witnessed it first hand how it gets more pink under actinic, not a flourescent or hot pink, kinda a dull flat pink. Anyone seen some of this before?

Some various acros, the one in the back is Tim's Palleta blue and after a year(was getting dropped and moved all the time, snails, crabs, you name it! :( ) is finally establishing and starting to grow. And Pam's green and pink tip one is really taking off since my power outage, lost the main stock/branches; now the base sprouted all kinds of axial coralites. Great coral Pam!

And heres your valida I got from you a few months back Doug,

I ended up trading that colony into John......yours looks better than I ever got it to be.....I have been feeding more and stuff is growing faster and coloring up better than ever....

Is that stylo the ocean blue polyped stylo from Atlantis that I also have?
you can see it on the website and have seen some large colonies on the SPS forum. Great piece

Nope.....having a large skimmer, 3 fish in a 75g, a filter sock, and a bare bottom tank with tons o flow.....makes a very clean and nutrient poor system......up until recently I fed only every other day........and sugar dose regularly.

Sterile is a word that comes to mind........I was stunting growth and thought it was just "slow" growing corals.

I began dosing more phyto and feeding more and things are looking better than ever......in fact your blue tipped acro, (well just the tips in yours, but all blue in my tank. ), just sprouted a few more branches.......btw if you look at SniperSPS page on exoticreefs old site, he has one there that looks very famillar as well.

lol listen to you. I feel a challenge building :D It has to be the same specie, I remember giving John some and put it next to the one that Tyree gave him, Im not gonna say which one I thought looked better though ;)

Btw Doug, I noticed when I kept that frag I gave you down low the blue was indeed showing throghout the stalk more than my one up higher. I may just have to keep that one on the sandbed if I want to show you up ;) heheh But when mentioned you were getting hair on your new rock I dont think you were nutrient poor, sounds like possible phosphates. My corals lightend up and growth became slow as well when I had too much.

Sometimes people are convinced that when they see 0 phos, that theyve won the battle, but overlook the fact that its just bound up in something during time of testing and will be released later. To be honest I dont even bother testing for this very reason. When the micro, or macro are growin and the sps is slowin, thats all you need to be knowin, that its time to get the phosphates a'goin. Sorry started rhymin and had to see it through, Im lame I know :p hahah.
