Pictures with phone

Anyone have any tips for taking pictures under blues with a phone?

I have an htc one m8 and it has a pretty good camera, but I can't take a picture with my blues on for the life of me. Anyone have any tips? Or is it pretty much impossible with a phone?

I'm not familiar with that phone, but do you have the option to change white balance?

I've had only mild success with my Samsung, but that was actually messing with the lights themselves like below, not the phone. LEDs so I kept changing the colors until it came out ok. I've only had really good pics come out with my slr by changing to RAW format and messing with the white balance.

Apparently my phone does have where I can adjust the white balance, nice!
I will try it and see.

Tried it, but still worked pretty porely..will look into orange gel filters.

I just bought the $3 'camera plus' app for my iPhone and found it really easy to use, and neutralized the blues nicely. Here are some pics I just took! these are macro shots with 8000 kelvin white balance setting
