these photos were taken with my iphone thru orange colored reef glasses. since i was running only the blue/violet/uv light spectrum at the time the camera can't capture a good image without some type of color filter. If you dont have reef glasses ($5) get a pair, the corals' colors pop under the blue lights unlike viewing under white lights.

Thank you for that post. What a difference the orange filter makes. This is the first "side by side" I have seen and the difference is amazing. Sure wish they had a like button.
 
your welcome. FYI i found the film at B&H Photo in nyc for under $10. it's available in various colors. similar color reef glasses were $5 at a recent frag show as well as online.
