Check out the amount of food in the water column. Keep in mind this system is connected to a huge +2000g system (it was TOTM back in Feb 06). The flow seems to be a bit on the low side, but he may have turned it down to capture the video better, I don't know.

Bringing this thread back because there is a new article from Coral Magazine on his tank. His NPS tank is soon to be inhabited by a pair of super rare Paracentropyge boylei, arguably the most stunning dwarf angel out there!

Link to article.

And Aquabacs - check out all the Distichopora in his tank!

Thanks for bringing this back. Amazing tank. I love the NP and haven't seen anything like this.

Mike, I need to check it out when I get back home (working off my phone while I am away). I haven't seen his tank since last October when the video came out. Interested in what has changed since then. Did you get a copy of the actual issue? Was there more than one photo of it?

Mike, the article is on their website, but I don't know if its gonna be published in the mag or not. There is actually only 1 pic of the tank, and it appears to be taken without any lights on the tank other than the flash from the camera. He says that the tank is kept away from outside light and away from the public! He wants to give the C. boylei pair the maximum amount of privacy.

He divided the NPS tank in 2 tanks the last time I was there with a friend who delivered a lot of NPS corals for the tanks. Reason for this is that the Rhizotrochus and Tubastrea sting a lot and not all dendronephtias and gorgonias like that.

Although I like the big tank (which now has a complete new, more open, aquascape) I prefer the NPS tanks.

I don't know whether it's allowed to give an URL to the Dutch forum where more photos are posted? Or should I ask him this first?

Regards,

Marcel
