PIII upgrade

Just wanted to say I got my replacement PIII board today. It arrived in perfect condition thanks to Michaels excellent packing.

I went through the installation process already and that went through without a hitch. I have everything running already and so far so good. I still need to sit down and read the manual on the new features though.

I know I am going to be directed to the Profilux forum, and will post there also, but does anyone know if we are limited on the dimming points for dimmable lamps? I ask because it looks as though we are limited to 12 points and I am in the process of installing my LED's and would like to utilize the dimming capablies of the driver to gradually ramp the lights up and down.

I am sure once I READ THE MANUAL that I will see how best to use the dimming features for my LEDs, but was hoping someone on here has already set theres up and would be willing to share some information.

Thanks again Michael for working with me to get my replacement board.

No problems,

Everyone will see and experience some temporary limitations in firmware and software for a few weeks while GHL soak test all releases so the product continues its path of bug free and 100% reliable functionality.

When a function is made active it is often in its limited form to start with and then on the next release the function is broadend.

I would advise posting on the forum your findings so GHL are made aware of its importance :)

the illumination curves have changed, look at it tehy are easier to use and take less programing

After reading through the manual they look pretty easy to set. So, the ramping up or down occurs automatically over the time you have set and up to the percentage you have asked for?

So, if I want my blue LED's to come on at 8am at 0% and be at 100% by 9, the dimming occurs gradually over the course of that hour?
