pinched mantle

can someone show me some pictures of a clam that had a pinched mantle? wuts so bad about it? can pinched mantle itself kill a clam?

yes it can kill the clam, what makes you think you have it? can you post any pics?

themantle jstu doesnt seem as extended..and it seems to be having trouble stretching over the shell..idunno.. does anyone think they can post pictures of pinched mantle? i would really appreciate it..
