Pinched Mantle ?

Recently got my very first clam from a local reefer on here so umm, is this the infamous pinched mantle disease ? I have seen no new growth on shell and last owner said clam hasn't really grown since he got him which was about 8 months I think.

Also, I’m thinking of picking up another maxima tomorrow, if this is pinched mantle will it infect the new clam ?

The clam in the pictures has always look like that with the corner mantle not fully open.
