Pink algae

The growth structure, the flat or even hollow ends, its a type of Galaxaura. Must just be a very fine branched member of the genus.

Dlteck2000,

PM me if you're anywhere near Paris. Wifey and I will be doing Paris and Malta later this year. After that, the next overseas vacation looks like London, the "Chunnel", Normandy and then Paris.

Ok, problem solved.
Yesterday I can't access the second page of this topic.

Thank you Raybee indeed it looks very much like the Amphiroa franciscana.

Yet it is still present in my aquarium.

Hello , I have not yet found a solution and all my aquarium is invaded.
It grows between the branches of Acropora and develop it by making necrotic ...

hello,

I only tried Mespilia globulus do not touch.
I recently introduced Aplysia californica apparently he does not eat :(

@Massachusetts : it's going to cost dear France -> Massachusetts ;)

These could be Amphiroa or a Jania species...I'd have to look more closely at the dichotomies (where the branches split) to tell for certain. Either way, both genera have a lot of calcification and are not eaten by anything to my knowledge!
