Pink encrusting montipora?

It's a little hard to make out in this picture, but to my inexperienced eye this looks like some kind of pink SPS that is beginning to bleach. Trying to ID so I can figure out how to save it (if possible). It came on some live rock that I bought as part of a used setup.

Looks like a Monti Cap. What lights you running?

It's a 125 gallon and I've got 3 of the Evergrow D120 LED fixtures over it. They are pretty far off the water for now (maybe 14"), I plan on lowering them eventually, but have read that you have to acclimate corals to LED lighting (this came from a tank with halides).

I kind of had to rush things into the tank when I was setting it back up after moving it so unfortunately have this guy rather low in the tank and some zoa's pretty high up.

Should I move the lights down? They are running at full brightness (though very high up like I said).

It's a Montipora species, but not a capricornis. Possibly another plating species. If it does plate it would be closer to Montipora delicatula.

Keep it out of the direct light for now and make sure your alk stays stable.

Frick is right, not M. capricornus, which never has ridges. M. delicatual, maybe, more likely M. foliosa, which has just such a colour morph.
