Pink Growth on Blue-Spotted Jawfish - Anyone Know What This Is?

I ordered this from the Diver's Den on Live Aquaria, and usually their fish are pristine. However, this Jawfish has this pinkish growth on it's body (it's on the body, not on the gill or fin like it may seem by the pictures). Can anyone identify what this may be? See pics below:

either an open wound, cyst or blister. This is not good at all and id send these pics to DD and talk to them about a replacement, refund or some sort of compensatory measure as this is quite bad, and will leave a permanent damage or mark.

Update - Live Aquaria is still looking into what the growth is, but they issued a full refund.

I know its going to be a pain, but have you qt'd him? Or have you an update?

Growth has gotten bigger, but looks more white-ish now rather than pink. The little guy is eating and doesn't seem phased, but we'll see how it goes... I'll send another update in a day or two

Well, the growth has gotten smaller, but now his under-belly is starting to get a bit whitish, as you can see in the following picture. Anyone know if this is of concern?
