Twon....You mention "Keeping up on the calcium and alkalinity". Where do you keep your Calcium and Alkalinity? Just the reactor? Do you dose Kalk? Night only? Paristolic pump? VERY admirable growth!

i top off with kalk water, was using a float switch, but it broke, so now its manual, though i will be fixing that soon.
I try to keep alk around 3, which the kalk was doing, but lately i have been using randy's three part to supplement. i have a calcium reactor but ive never hooked it up, and don't think i will.

You know twon not hooking up the calcium reactor, people would say your crazy... but I say good for you!!! Every tank is different, and each has there own method of success... your s is apparent in your pics... I would not change a thing!!!!

Not to take away from Ti posting...
Those are tree spirits (Kodama) from the Japanese animation "Princess Mononoke".
It's a good movie as are all of Miyazaki's films. The movie is in English as well, so if you can rent it or use Netflix it's a good movie to check out.
But anyway, back to the growth shots - that is some really good growth. I have yet to add lighting to my larger tank, and hope I get as good growth in mine as yours have.
