I have a pair of skunks that only swim at the top of my 20g. The water qualiy is excellant, I have a wet/dry sump for a filter so I am ok there. Is this normal behavior? Please help.
I'd leave them be for awhile. Clowns are very strange fish. I don't think there is a 'normal' behavior. How long have you had them in there? And how long has your tank been set up?
My 20g that they are in has been up and going for 1 year. I have live rock in it that is doing vey nice with plenty of critters. My skunks have been in there for three weeks.
Then I'd worry a lot less, they're just weird. My perculas just stop swimming when the lights go out and float off to the corner like they are dead. Been doing it for over a year, took a long time before I realized they weren't dieing.
