Pink spot goby

I just picked up a 4" pink spot goby. He's sitting in my
q tank now. He'll soon be in my 75g main tank. I'm
wondering if anyone can give me more info on this neat
looking creature. In particular if he might sift the sand for
me???
Thanks

I have one and its habits are similiar to a yellow watchman goby: it will find a burrow near some rocks and have its head out most of the time , except for feeding , which will come complete out , unless spooked by more aggressive fish. Eats mostly everything that goes in my tank . Good luck

Great info! I do already have a wheeler watchman maybe half his size.
He seems to have paired with a fire shrimp.
And also a yellow clown goby, but he hangs out toward the surface.
Any thoughts? Thanks

I have one and it does nothing except eat and harass my hermits and snails . He likes to pick them up and move them around . It is about 4" . Good luck with it .

Same here, he goes from one side of the tank to another picking up hermits and moving them into his spot. Cool fish, but has also eat $60 in peppermint shrimp

I have a 2.5" skunk cleaner and they get along fine . The shrimp will clean the goby it just lets the shrimp do his job .

stubby

I've had mine for almost 3 years with zero problems. In a 55 with a pistol, a coral banded, 2 fire and 2 cleaner shrimp.

I had a 5'' pink spotted watchman goby.....he got eaten by my 6'' russles' lionfish....didn't see that one coming (RIP Goby Bryant)
