Hi all

I had a nice pair of pink square anthias (male and female) The female jumped out of the tank and died.
Since them the male's Pink square has been fading and is almost undetectable. Is he turning ito a female? I didnt think these fish did that like some others do.

THanks for your help...

They don't turn back to female. They are, however, a notorious species for fading in color, in general. In addition, IME, anthias males are less colorful with no female around....

 Yeah, I've seen faded females that look almost white. These anthias REALLY know how to lose color!
