Pink streaked and Possum wrasse

I currently have a pink streaked wrasse in my 20 gallon long, and at the lfs they have a possum wrasse that has been there for quite some time that I have grown fond of. That being said I just want to know if a 20 is really large enough for both without any disputes.

I have a pink streak and possum together albeit in a larger tank than yours (40"x24"x24") and both are model citizens which don't trouble each other or any of the other inhabitants.

Both cracking fish IMO.

I suspect you'd be able to pull this off without much difficulty. Use an acclimation box to be sure.

Pseudocheilinus ataenia is the mild exception to the genus.

Had both in a 125 and they were the best of friends swam around together all the time. Obviously a different size tank, but I think you would be ok if you introduce them together properly as mentioned earlier.

I know you're the wrasse expert but I always thought the pink streak was Pseudocheilinops rather than Pseudocheilinus which accounted for the vastly better behaviour?

Thanks,

Chris

Oh that's interesting. Apparently there was a recent re-classification there I was unaware of. I promise it used to be classified as a Pseudocheilinus a couple years ago. Seems it's a genus all of it's own now; thanks.
