I've got a pink tip Hatian that doesn't seem to want to lock oon anywhere. It just drifts around the tank with the flow. My water is great, lighting is good, what alse could it be? It's been this way for about two months. I've had a sebae before that did this, it didn't survive, but it was due to my lack of knowledge. Any thoughts would be great.

Your pretty much going to have to post specifics about water quality and lighting as well as filtration, or no one will be able to help. Go do some tests and post the info! :)

PC lighting 300 watts, half 10K half actinic
Temp 80-81 calcium 440 Mg 1300 PH 8.1
no ammonia, <10 nitrates, no nitrites, salt 33ppt
Alk 8 DKH, good flow, 100# LR, large canister w/carbon, resin
small bioload, no fuge or sump yet, 90 gal tank, protein skimmer

How old is the tank? 300 watts of PC lighting may sound like a lot cos of the number 300, but in reality its not. Your nems will hardly be getting any useable light. Spend a bit of money on decent lighting and it will go a long way. A diy MH is fairly cheap
