Pinkbar Goby (Amblyeleotris aurora) in a 30 tall?

I purchased a small candy striped pistol shrimp and now I'm looking for a friend for him. Originally, I wanted a Yashia Hase goby, but can't find one locally. So, I looked at the pinkbar goby and did a little research. Liveaquaria says you can house them in a 30 gallon aquarium, but I would like some confirmation from people who have owned them. I don't have a ton of rockwork...probably two or three places the goby can set up camp.

I also had a question about their jumping. Does anyone know what causes this? Does it happen usually at night? I'm going to build a mesh screen, but I was just curious.

Currently, I only have a few hermits, 2 cleaner shrimp, one neon and one yellow clown goby. So, it's a VERY peaceful tank.

Thanks

In my experience with this goby when they had a pistol shrimp in my tank I saw him very rarely and he was mainly digging and making tunnels all over in my sand they should be fine just keep the screen just in case and make sure that the goby finds the shrimp.
