Pinkstreaked Wrasse

Despite that it seems more available than it has in the past, it doesn't seem that there's much information out there on the pinkstreaked wrasse (Pseudocheilinops ataenia). So, I have some questions concerning them:

-How skittish are they? Are they hardy fish? If you own one, how long have you had one?

-Are their colors as unimpressive as many pictures make them out to be, or are their colors brighter in person? Or do they vary in color?

-Does anyone have any experiences and/or pictures to share?

Thanks for any help you can provide me. I have a feeling that they could be a nice nano fish but the information out there is limited, and where better to ask but here!

Ive got a pink streak, and I love him. He was more skittish when I got him but now every time I walk up to the tank he's right there in front buzzing about. I've had him for about a year. The colors are pretty much what you see online, but the small details in coloration probably arent done justice in a picture you find online. He would be an ideal nano fish with a minimum tank size of 10 gallons, think of him as a mini version of a six-line, but much friendlier. Due to his friendly nature its best not to put him in a tank with any other wrasses because he is prone to getting picked on. And as for hardiness... they are rather hardy in my experience, my little guy has been through quite a bit and is still as healthy and happy as ever. Hope this helps in your decision

I'm on my second pink streak. My first lived about 5 years and swam around with a possum wrasse-both spent a lot of time out in the open. My current one is much more shy but is a good eater and visible in the rock work. Behavior is interesting as they pick at the rock work and sand hunting for tiny inverts. They are hardy but will be be at the bottom of the pecking order.
