Pinktail and Lei...best buds

I was snapping some pics for the disease forum because of some issues with my pinktail, but was finally able to catch these two in their weird little relationship.

They share the same cave at night, the Lei goes in first and then the Pinktail follows and covers him up. When they sleep you can only see the larger pinktail. They cruise the tank together and mimic each other's colors. The Lei will flash gold and the pinktail will slowly attempt to match and turn almost white. Lei will go purple and the pinktail goes back to a dark lime green. First time I saw the pinktail do this I thought it was dead.

Interesting. I've also never seen such an underbite on a fish, he looks like the top half of his mouth got severed off a while back. Does he seem to have any problems eating? He's got to be missing a few teeth up top at the very least.

I noticed that as soon as I got this one. It's more pushed in as if he ran into something. Never could figure out if it was normal, because the mouth appears to close properly. But you know triggers, much of the time is spent cruising with mouth hanging open.

As for eating, has the loudest chomp I've heard. Will grab a silverside by the tail and chomp chomp...it's gone. Sounds almost metallic. If it is a defect or injury it doesn't affect mealtime.
