Hello everyone Just wanted to share a few pics of my Tank

The tank just turned a year old last month.

As it stands the whole thing is fairly self sufficient in terms of filtration (ie no skimmer/fuge ect.) I only run carbon on rare occasions.

Basics:
2x40 Current Fixture
12lbs Tongan brach LR
5ish lbs of Indo Pacific LS
Aqua clear 30 and Penguin 150? (not sure on model #s) Power heads
Visatherm heater

I've never been much of one for words so lets get to the pics.

The FTS

That one has the most correct color to it

What I used to refer to as the candy necklace.

They didn't jive together and one frag was removed.

The constitantly fragged yellow figi

pink finger/ blurry zoas

zoas/ palys

YWMG/Pistol Shrimp combo are the only inhabitants outside the cleanup crew

The two are complete wusses, I was lucky to get that pic.

I'm going for a softie dominated tank as this is my first SW adventure

how long has your tank been up? i would imagine myself having problems if i had no source of filtration other than the LR in the display.

Oh man I soo wanna a tank just like that... Extra long with the tihatian (sp?) sand.

haha, yes, you're correct. it measures out to be a little more than 24" in length. i do use tahitian moon sand, but it's pretty hard to keep it clean. the tank/sump was built from scratch with 1/2" cast acyrlic and put together with weldon.

Ritten: I've already aquired a lot more zoa frags for the sculpture. (watch for another update here soon)

I figure I'd get a bunch more rare ones then upgrade to halides to speed up the growth. It's taking foooorever!

LOL Course knowing my luck the thing will crash as soon I get the T. branch fully covered.

My tank is a sponge factory I have this type growing everywhere there is shade

I Believe these are Called "pepto pinks" correct me if I'm wrong
