Pipe Organ Coral dying?

I had a small grouping of pipe organ that survived on the first live rock I put in the tank. It slowly grew to multiple colonies.

Here it is on Dec 5th

It's a mixed tank with SPS, LPS, and soft coral. There are mushroom corals, green star polyp and Xenia nearby as well as acropora, monti, frogspawn, and even a large favia growing well...

All are doing fine...

But the pipe organ hasn't opened since before Christmas and looks to be dying

The water chemistry should be good given the other corals' polyp expansion.

Predation maybe?

Your water might be "too clean" See what your nitrates and phosphates are. I'm pretty sure those pipe organs like dirtier water.

I'm just trying to come up with some ideas that you might of overlooked. It's very odd that with all of the rest of your tank doing well and this one was doing well for so long. Then all of a sudden this.

Do you have anything close to it that could be doing the "chemical warfare" thing with it? If so might run some carbon for a while. It sure wouldn't hurt anything.

The rhodactis next to it is a tough character but it's been there for over a year. In fact, the pipe organ was growing fastest while the rhodactis was almost covering it.

The green star polyp was bridging them, and it didn't like the mushroom competition, so I moved it away. I don't think moving the GSP away would hurt the pipe organ?

The frogspawn on the other side is waging a war on the same rhodactis colony
