Pipefish in SPS reef tank?

Anyone have any experience with Dragon Face Pipefish in their reef? How difficult to feed are they in a SPS reef tank. Would my yellow tang pester it? Do they really make any difference in Red Bug populations? The good doctors at LiveAquaria have these on sale. Has anyone ordered fish from them recently? Do they come healthy?

I'll try to formulate a post for the seahorse forum too.

weatherson (totm june? 05) has had a trio of them in his 240. he never had any problems that i know of. however, ive never been able to keep any pipes for longer than a month. lots of competition in my tank for pods as i have a pair of leopard wrasses.

as far i la, i absolutely love ordering fom them. i do it frequently.

Thanks for the info. I also wonder if I need to get a pair. I would rather get one and see how he does and then maybe add another if he is thriving. I have no other competition for pods in my tank and I have an abundance of them right now. All my fish are herbivores or feed from the water column (a few chromis).

Anyone else have experience?
