Pipefish Picture Thread!

I have gotten all my pipefish from the LFS ( I would first see if they have any or can special order you some). I would recommend liveaquaria.com to buy your pipefish at, they have a good variety and thier animals seem to be very healthy. Right now I have my bluestripe in with my multibanded and they seem to ignore each other. What ever your choice, good luck.

i have a 10 gal nano would it be posible to keep a pipe fish in there if i do alot of waterchanges and fill it up with water from my 65 reef and put live rock from my 65gall
would i be able to keep him alive?

These are my little guys... They live in the 55g refugium. Sorry the pics are a little blurry, they just didn't want to pose for the camera :(
Alligator pipe - and yes, those are fake plants... The real ones were not big enough and I wanted him to have some place to put his tail

My blue lined feeds exclusively on copepods. The Jannus feeds on copepods and occasional brine shrimp. My alligator (King Henry VIII) eats 5-10 small grass shrimp 3 times a week, brine shrimp, and occasionally hunts pods.

In a 10 gal. you could probably get away with a pair of bluestripes as long as they accept frozen food.

Heres some pictures of my Dragon Pipes. Ive had them for maybe 2 months now. They are feeding only on pods. I try some smaller frozen food and some other live food but they dont give it the time of day. Please excuse the shotty pictures, its the best I can get with this camera. Hey fishyvet dont worry I got the fake plants also they love em and the pods are all on em so its somewhat real.

Here's mine. I've had him for about 6 weeks and so far he seems very happy. He lives in my sps tank with lots of flow and 3 tangs. He's the only pipefish in there now, but I'm thinking of adding a couple more or maybe just one more in the future since there seems to be more than enough food for him.
