Pipefish Recommendations For A 20 Gallon???

are there any pipefish you guys would recommend for a 20 gallon reef tank with all different types of corals. i only have 2 fish, sixline and a yashia haze. i wouldn't want a bluestriped pipefish though, and would like something that eats frozen.

I don't think I'd put any pipefish in a 20 gallon tank with a sixline.

The reason everyone loves bluestripes is that even if they don't eat frozen, they can usually do ok eating pods in a small tank. Bigger pipes have a harder time and are (IME and according to my research) less likely to eat frozen foods.

Even assuming your sixline isn't too aggressive (more likely in a small tank, esp. as it gets older), it's going to compete for pods.

Think rssjsb's rational is sound and the reason, after talking to lfs, I don't have a six line, as much as I like them.

will it work if i put one in my frag tank? its a 20 long and it would be all by themself.

As long as it grows or you supply plenty of pods it should work.
