It's a Cannon Digital Ixus700. I like it a lot for a point and shoot without any special lenses. Getting a good white balance with the digial macro setting can take forever but I was happy with today's session. The colors are close to real, but still not as good as a few other photographers I've seen here.

Tank is looking sweet buddy. Glad they are all doing well. I just Never know what I'll get with the brown Acro's...
Sometimes they do color up nicely.

I love to watch them rebound. That big one I grabbed last week has baby blue growth tips on every one of the 100+ branches. It's also easily my fastest grower. I can probably take a pic every other day and see noticable growth. It shocks me every morning.

I added two chalk bass last week, they may be my new favorite fish. They are very colorful, active swimmers, and weren't expensive! Here are a couple pics, sorry for the blur, still trying to master fish photography.

Thanks.

I haven't heard from Marineland yet. I just pulled the shipping info and they received my package on 11/19/09 and the csr told me I'd hear back in 2-4 weeks. It's been about 7 weeks so I will try and get in contact with them again, but I don't expect I'll be getting anything back.

Either way, in my opinion Marineland Stealth Heaters are unfit for use based on my personal experience as well as being contacted by several other hobbyists with similar experiences. The company claims them to be shatterproof on the package, but their manual has a disclaimer against covering loss. Customer service has been frustrating, uncoordinated, and occasionally hostile. I even received one email claiming that their manual explicitly states not to use heaters in a sump tank and I called them on it and they quickly backtracked.

I highly recommend any hobbyists using Marineland products to consider upgrading. To any retailers carrying Marineland products, remember that the brands you carry represent your business.

oh wow I cant believe that,Im really sorry! Glad to see it was not a total loss not to make light of what was lost! I hope you have a good outcome with the company :) keep us posted!
take care

Thanks guys. The re-start wouldn't have been possible without some very generous hobbyists and LFS owners, not to mention my always supportive girlfriend.

The 50g tank is pretty packed now with just one or two bare spots I'm saving for a couple really nice acros.

All the other tanks are truckin along. I upgraded the frag system to a 30g breeder a while back and I've been working on some frags for the next swap. I've got ~150 small frags in there now with tons of space to fill if you can believe that.

I'll shoot some pics as soon as I get some spare time, thanks for following.

Anytime man, you guys haven't seen the system since the rebuild. Your blue digi is going nuts!

LMK next time you're in Rochester. You two are always welcome.

Here's my monthly update on the 50g breeder...

One of my chalk basslets went carpet surfing and I added this beauty:

Here are the fts's and some wide shots of the scape and corals growing in. I was pretty happy as this batch matches the look of my Sunpower and bulb combo pretty well.

Here you go mate. Not the best pic. The pieces on the right are quite small, but I wanted to try the prop method in the current RKH magazine.
