Pistol/Goby pair question

I have a 5 gallon tank cycling right now and was wondering if it would be big enough for a pistol goby combo and if so what species of each is the most likely to pair?

Your tank seems small to me.

I think they usually are bought as an already matched pair.

I have a 3 gallon pico tank that i put a yellow watchmen goby in and a randalls pistol shrimp. I bought them from different stores but added them to the tank at the same time and with in a couple of hours they paired up and are now inseparable As long as you keep up on your water changes you will be fine..
