pistol shrimp n goby

i just picked up a pistol shrimp and Tangaroa Goby. how long will it take for the two to pair up. the shrimp just took off and buired himselkf in the sand under a rock. haven't seen him since yesterday when i put him in. the goby is just hiding under arock and not even movin. looks scared.

I had a pistol shrimp for almost 2 years. Then about 2 weeks ago I bought a watchman goby, and it took about 3 days or so for them to pair up. I was amazed.

its very hard to say when they will pair up, they could pair up rather fast or not at all, there is no definate answer to that
