Pistol shrimp of shrimp and goby pair not eating

Hey guys I have a goby and cc pistol shrimp pair. The goby comes out during feeding time and I see him eating however the shrimp doesn't come out or is too scared and I've never seen him eat. Should I target feed some food into his hole ?

That's what I do. Mine comes out of there is food nearby.
