Pistol Shrimp safe in reef?

I just purchased a Orange Spot Goby, and Orange Pistol Shrimp, should I put them in my main reef or frag tank?
I am just concerned about the pistol killing my engineer goby, or anthias while sleeping....I guess I should have thought twice about it before I purchased, but I thought it would be a cool partnership between the shrimp and goby.

I have the same pair and the shrimp has not hurt anything in my tank....blenny, mandarin and others have been fine.

Don't they attack other crustaceans?

Only if there is no food or if the Emerald crab won't stay out of 1 of the holes he digs the he takes care of the trespasser with swift and deadly justice at least thats what mine did and thats the only thing that I lost

I've lost a snail or two that was dumb enough to wander into the burrow, but other than that there have been no losses. The biggest problem is the amount of burrowing and throwing sand that he does. About once a week he covers 1 or 2 of my lower corals.

I had a pair of them for several years, they finally died of old age I think. They didnt harm anything at all in my tank that I know of. Only prob was they only came out to eat and then only sometimes. Not real easy to spot. It was prob a few months before I figured out they were gone.
