Pistol Shrimp Spawn!

I was watching my mantis shrimp the other day in it's 1 foot nanocube and suddenly a jet of water spouted out of one of the small holes in the rock it was under.

I've known for a while that a pistol shrimp lives there but now it looks like there could be a pair. The jet of water blowing out had dozens of little shrimps in it...

I suspect that they are the pistol shrimp's...

They probably won't last long in that kind of set up tho'

Mantis is probably overjoyed by the little snacks floating around.
