Placed order with Aquacave and no confirmation

I placed a order with Aquacave about 24 hours ago and have heard nothing.
Sent a couple of emails and have not heard anything. Is this SOP for Aquacave?

Seems odd I have to call a internet based retailer. I did finally get a copy of my invoice today though and it's already on the UPS truck for delivery. (I live within 50 miles of them) So that is good, they really do need to work on answering emails or at least have them forwarded to their cell phones or something.
 
I have ordered several things from them and they are great. I've talked to them on the phone and asked for some special shipping and they were more then accommodating.
 
i order lots of stuff from them, i don't believe there open on the weekends, i normally place my orders on friday or saturday and will receive a shipping notice monday afternoon and the package will arrive on friday
 
I was thinking my order was lost or mia so I called today and found out if you order a Etss skimmer they are built to order. So everyone here that is the deal if a couple days go and no response don't sweat it.
 
I have been issues with them getting back to me also. I sent a ballast back to be replaced/fixed and have had to call them several times over the last few weeks..
 
same issue here, first and last time i order with aqua cave, i had to call them after 3 days and no response to my email inregards to tracking info, i was told" i must get 300 emails a day" poor excuse dude.
 
You can track your order on their site under your account. I have ordered from them a few times with no issues.

I called them once to be removed from a pre-order list and I was promptly taken off.

my experiences have always been positive, but I realize that may not be the case for others
 
i have never had an issue with them i get everything in a timly matter and everything looks great. I have even called them from afganistan to ask them ? and always not rushed me to get off the phone even went into more detail then expected. I only order from them and prices are fair and better then most out there.
 
Same situation, I've ordered stuff from them in the past. However, I placed an order on Nov. 1 for an new PH...I received the invoice but have not seen the typical shipping notice. I've called and left a vm as well as an e-mail. Haven't had any problems in the past, but might be taking my business elsewhere unfortunately.
 
I placed my 1st order with aquacave this weekend. I placed the order online on Sun morning and have the tracking/shipping info in my e-mail this morning (Tues). Prompt order processing in my case.
 
I just placed an order with them and look forward to doing future business with them if all goes well.

I cannot speak for others but my experience was very good. My order was placed Sun on-line. I had tracking info Tues morning and the package was delivered Wed afternoon. Quick service in my case.
 
I have bought all my large ticket items from them...... vortechs, refugiums , skimmers. They alwyas have the best price and free shipping. The website says that you will receive shipping info after 2 days of your order complaining after 24 hours, c'mon man. Ive had not had any problems after 5 years. I have called them and always speak to the same patient guy who i think is the owner.
 
I too always receive tracking info from them fairly quickly - generally use them for big ticket items also. All but one order, I have received notice within 48 hours with a tracking number...one time I think the order arrived within 48 hours and I got the notice after actually recieving it.
 
I placed an order, and received no tracking info, I sent an email, no response. I bought a vortech, and was given free shipping, but I chose to pay an extra 8$ just to get it quicker, and so that it wouldn't be sitting ona truck over the weekend, in the freezing cold here in WV. Guess what, that's where it is right now! I don't have a problem with not getting it out like is SUPPOSED to be done according to the site, but c'mon I spent 380$ atleast you cn reply to my email? I even checked my account to see if the $8 is credited on, but theres no way to check that. I know I got a good deal on it, but I'm beginning to wonder if it would be better to pay more because I WANT SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I also fidn it odd that this company is a sponsor ont his forum, and they have their own section, but they never try to help their clients, just bad business.....
