Placement in tank for Watermelon Alien Eye

I just bought Watermelon Alien Eye, but I do not know where I should place it.
Can it survive under MH?

Somewhere in the lower third of your tank would probably be fine. Medium to low flow and low-medium light is usually pretty good. Just start low and move up once it's acclimated to your tank.

Is it pink or red? Pinks tend to like higher light, reds tend to like lower lights.

ditto on the lower light as stated above, if it stays colored up nicely down low than you should be fine, if it losses it's color and pop play around with it and move it up slightly until you see the color come back into it...very nice piece by the way...gorgeous!
