Placement of carpet anemone

Would it be ok 1/2 way up in a 55gl with Nova Extreme 4 x 54w T5's?...The reason I'm asking is....before I could turn around to attend to him after acclimation, my wife had him in the water and he attached himself to a rock rather quickly...He's been there for a week now without moving and eats clam when fed (buying silversides soon). He opens up nicely when lights are on. Just curious. He's got his base buried deep in a wide crack...so he's there untill he wants too move. But, I could move the whole rock down if anyone figures he'd be better off closer to the bottom.

If it is not comfortable where it is, it will move on its own. If it is happy where it is and is not in danger, leave it alone.

I put mine where I thought it would be good, but it moved on its own and found its proper place.

I put mine where I wanted it and I got lucky and it has been there for about 7 months now. Thats the exception to the rule though, usually where ever you put them the just move somewhere thay don't belong.

Or just put them where you dont want them and maybe they will move to where you want them.
