I have 2 anemones---one I placed and it hasn't moved since. Seems to love the location. The other moves everyday, and seems to like hiding behind or under my LR where it can't be seen. I know this is probably a bad idea, but whenever he hides, I get him and set him somewhere else where I want him. I have even gone so far as to trapping him by surrounding him with rocks--not tight and not actually touching him, but making it harder for him to move. He is VERY healthy showing no signs of stress at all, and eats well--am I doing a bad thing by placing him where I want versus where he wants?
