Just got a small T maxima about 1.5 inch size, does it have to be placed on a flat surface?... I have lots of crevises in the LR which would be directly under The MH's and in a light water flow.. but I keep reading about the clams foot and how it attaches to rock with it, if the clam is in a crevise its foot would be "hanging free", would that be OK.
