Placing Clam on Ceramic Tile?

has anyone placed his/her clam on a ceramic tile?

this way the clam's foot will attach to it, and if you like to move the clam around you can, without having to cut it from rocks or the bottom of the tank.

if so, what exactly did you use? where did you buy it from?

Im not positive on if the ceramic would be safe for the tank chemicaly, but im sure it would be fine if its a clam thats not to be in the sand. Im can't remember which ones do better in sand or on the rocks.

you could go to Home Depot or lows and get one depending on the size of the clam, if its small you could even just put it on a 4x4 tile and when it gets bigger glue that tile to a bigger one.

use slate natural tiles marble what not. And look at the guy that posted the gigas he has his on a marble tile.

My Gigas is on a piece of marbleLike the guy before said, I have a Deresa on a ceramic tile it works perfect. make sure to turn the tile over because the underside is rough and it is easie for the clam to attach. I have his sitting on the bottom of my tank on the tile and he hasn't moved in a long time. take care, Mike
