planet reef sale thread

anyone know what kind of stuff they will be having and if these prices will be super sweet?

equipment mainly?
 
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this one is the dry goods sale. I think it's in the drygoods portion of the warehouse -- new and used stuff. Those who go Sunday get a ticket to their livestock sale (not sure the date of that one) in the livestock warehouse. (Basically this sounds like what Beldt's used to do, except on 2 diff. days, and a special invitation.)
 
Check out the listing on Criagslist. Search for "reef".

I'm curious about:

"When you register as you enter this will put you on the list for future private events including private invites to the propogation facility. Only registered attendees from May 4th will be elligible for these events. "

Any one know where the "propogation facility" is?

Are you planning a raid? Its like a secret hideout , invite only, .



I was really interested to know if there are going to be any deal or if this is just going to be used tanks. I think I'll be going to get out the house and see what there. If anything I want to be sure to be on the super secret invite list for the coral facility.

I'm setting up the 75 sunday and hoping to go from nothing to freshwater test all in one day. We shall see.

At the opposite end of the parking lot there is a warehouse, it has two halves. The front is their "propogation" & QT area and the back is where they store drygoods. I havent seen the drygoods area, but the QT area is about 3/4 the size of the store. I dont think Im revealing anything secret, Steve used to send customers down there all the time if another employee was down there.
 
So we will walk through the coral to get to the drygoods?

At least we will get a look at what we all really want.
 
I really believe this Planet Reef group is going to end-up being one of the best stores St.Louis has ever seen. These guys truly are first rate.
 
I dont know how you get into the dry goods area, there must be a separate door because the only other door I remember being in the QT area looked like it went into a small office.
 
OK--it looks like the sale is fish, inverts, and dry goods.

I don't know what type of deals on any of this stuff, but it seems like they usually have decent prices on their dry goods and fish at their normal prices. Should be good prices.

Thats why i keep the tank to drive her nuts or did you mean get rid of her? that would work to but then I wouldnt have the money to buy all the stuff.
