planet reef sale thread

I hope not! I think it's just the First Anniversary Sale. I got an e-mail about it.

The dry goods warehouse has a sale on new and used equipment (getting rid of some of their old fixtures and the like), while the reg. store has sales on fish and corals. I've never been in the warehouse, so that should be pretty cool.

Steph, the warehouse is just across the parking lot from the store.

also I heard that jxmetal's store is selling a $25 milli colony and a $10 mill frag. might be worth checking out since its down the road.

anyone else going top be there at 8am, the wife is coming to restrict my purchases..........................

If you get there at 8:00 AM, your wife wont have to worry about restricting your purchasing for at least a few hours...

We need a black van like on old school and we'll kidnap you she'll never know.

hmm? The three amigos used to run around in a black van. don't know what happened to it tho. I'm sure they will claim high gas prices but I really think it is the candy they couldn't afford any more. :D

Nope, we still have it :D Were waiting to catch you off guard :eek2: The gas prices do affect it though, but not as bad as the "candy" does

I can't speak for the other two amigos, But I will be there, hopefully around 10ish, if the wifey approves of it that early. :)

Good news I had the times mixed up.

Whew!! Man are we glad you straightend that issue out

Their warehouse is at the end of the strip mall. The door to their dry goods facility is around the corner. I have been in there before. They are supposedly having a pretty good sale.

Anybody score? They had drilled 20 gallons for $8. I bought one, to possibly upgrade fuge size, but at that price, I was tempted to by 10 of them.

the price of gas prevented me from making it.

my wife works at the school right next to the store and i try to stop by when we car pool.

I picked up some locline and some T-5 endcaps. After doing the math, I saved just more than half off new internet pricing. :)

Lots of good stuff to be had yesterday IMO.

I did pretty good on some loc-line as well.

Good scores to be had on tanks if you needed one. If they had prices on everything I think I might have bought more. I dont have the patience to ask how much everything is.

There were some good deals to be had, and I didn't get there until 3:00, so who knows what I missed. Lots of good used stuff, and those frag tanks were tempting.

I know for a fact you did good on the locline, I was picking through your scraps. Did you get any 1/4"?

I agree with not wanting to chase someone down to ask for a price check. There were other things I was interested in too. Oh well.

I thought it was good over all. Prices were very tempting. If I wasn't broke I would have stocked up on some T 5's but some guy shook me down when I first got there and took me for all I had  j/k Thanks for the 25g tall man, I needed it and it looks like it will fit into the sump.
