Planktivore??

I posted a Midas Blenny in the PLEASE check your purchases out here before buying them thread. Snorvich said the Blenny may nip at fins of planktivores. I also saw that on the LA site about them, and went trying to figure out what a planktivore is.

Webster has no definition. Wikipedia (I know, sketchtastic) said its an aquatic organism that eats plankton, eg. a Blue Whale. Does this mean pod-eaters?

Dang, I really need to read better, I missed the LA part.

Feeding on plankton, e.g., most fish larvae and many pelagic fishes.
Pelagic fish live near the surface.
