Does anyone by any chance know who makes the reef stew that some of the stores sell? I am looking for a large volume of the stuff and some info on starting my own rotifer and copepod cultures.

Both of my male seahorses seem to be with childs and Im gonna try to balance out their baby brine shrimp with some other stuff....

You want to get the Live Phyto Feast. I use this in my seahorse fry tank with rotifers.
I also use it to feed the rotifer culture.

I don't know who makes the reef stew that the LFS (LFSs?) sell, but when he's in town, BajaBum sells some great stew at FRAG meetings.

So here's a newbie question then: What sort of other use does a product like this have? Will my corals enjoy it? Better than ground up seafood products?

IIRC corals are pretty much the ONLY thing that will enjoy it (besides the other natural plankton/filter feeders already living in the tank). Reef Stew is typically thought of as only coral food - not really a fish food. It's awesome in that everything is fresh and alive. Nothing has preservatives or other nastiness. So not only does it increase the feeding response, but it's also of a higher quality.

Bump for Bajabum's Reef stew, and our fish go wild when we add the stew, things too small for us to see but the fish see and go after them with much vigor...

Reef Stew, eh... Is there are recipe for that floating around somewheres? I'd like to compare it to what I'm feeding currently...
