Planning a Trip to NYC/LI

My brother and I are planning on taking a trip to NYC and LI sometime soon, we wanted to make sure we catch the best, top of the line reef shops in the area while we are there. I was wondering if you guys could help me out and let me know where they are. We would prefer to stay in NYC and go to shops that are near the subway, but are willing to do a little more traveling.

I have found Manhattan Aquariums and thats it so far. Any help or suggestions would be great!!

Manhattan Aquariums is the best one I know of in NYC. There are a few more further out on LI but they are a bit of a distance from NYC.......Country Critters is one of them - they have a nice display tank and a fairly large selection of fish and corals. If you have more time, I highly suggest you make a visit to Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead. You won't regret it.

Well the buddy I am going to go see lives in NYC now, but he is originally from LI, so maybe I could go to the other place on LI and maybe go see Chris' tank!!
