Hey, Ive been working on setting up my 210gallon and Im wondering how strong my return pump should be?
Its a 210Gal. Megaflow AGA
I was aiming for 5x Turnover through my sump, which I custom made from a 75gallon and baffled it with 8 acrylic sheets and silicone
Trying to figure out the best way to fill it, I filled it with tapwater to make sure the tank/baffles wouldnt leak, which they dont, but as I was filling one compartment the sheets started to bend fairly badly...
so I ended up filling each a little bit untill I was up to where it needed to be...
It worked fine after it was filled, but I do need to figure out a return pump for it.. I would rather not have an external... but would like to hear some , preferably Cheap, but well made sturdy quite pumps... I am on a budget...
I have used Mag's in the past, but I do notice that with useing the Mags, they do produce a bit of heat...
I will be running a CL ... sequence dart, with 4 returns...
trying to figure out how many unions I should get.. Im thinking 5 unions for the CL
